Well, after some chaotic drama on Thursday, I had my friend Catie pick me up and we gathered everyone who was going with us. Catie (who was dressing up as Shippo from Inuyasha) hadn't finnished her costume yet so we all pitched in to help best we could. We ended up making it pretty damn awesome. Friday morning, Adam told me that he couldn't take me, Kira and April home Sunday (even though we've been planning for him to take us all home Sunday for months.) so the three of us were freaking out about getting a ride. We ended up figuring it out and headed out (all 12+ of us in three cars).
Since we couldn't check in to the hotel room until 3 we decided to chill and keep our stuff in the cars until then. Catie got our badges and I took some pictures of awesome cosplayer. We met up with the rest of the group who came in different cars and got everything situated with our hotel rooms and such. Finally, we were able to enjoy A-kon20!
OMG, it was an epic weekend. The moment I stepped into the Dealer's Room I knew I was at home. XD Hardcore FMA fans actually recognized who I was cosplaying! I was surprised. But of course, the majority of the fans forgot my character's name, Paninya. We went to the opening ceremonies and the Rave afterwards. The Rave was absolutely amazing and so much fun.
Saturday, we woke up and went to Vic's panel. OMG HE COSPLAYED AS WOLVERINE! It was so epic! And Michelle cosplayed as Jane! They were both so adorable and their costumes were amazing! His panel was so much fun. I tried to ask him a question and also to get him to sing a bit of Tamaki's song but sadly, he didn't get to my question in time. After the panel, we got in line for autographs. Because the line was so damn long a lot of people were not able to get autographs that day. Me included. Well, I take that back. Chris Patton (Greed from FMA) and Wendy Powell (Envy from FMA) decided to surprise us all and come AROUND the line to sign what we wanted signed. I got Chris to sign my Chrono Crusade boxset over Joshua.
Since I was the first one in line to get cut from seeing Vic, my awesome buddy known as Vampirate ("Vampires DO NOT sparkle!") was able to tell the people in charge of managing the line that I was one of the firsts to get Vic's autograph the next day (Only, I had no idea that he was going to do this for me. It was such a great surprise when he told me and Kira that we could get Vic's autograph. We found out when we went back to the line on Sunday).
I got pictures with all the other guest VAs. and then we went to stand in line for the cosplay skits. They were enjoyable...so much better than last year's skits. The winning Death Note skit was (dare I say it?) EPIC! It got a standing ovation and the cosplayers were so amazing. Best Ryuk I've ever seen.
I met a Roy Mustang cosplayer (Vince) earlier that day and as Kira, Cindy and I were eating he decided to come over and chat...then he asked me to be his date to the Mascarade Ball later that night.
It was fun. We danced with my friends and his friends and then decided to just go upstairs and talk. I also met some other awesome guys who joined us and we were talking pretty much until 3 in the morning.
Sunday was a bit hectic but when we figured out when we were supposed to leave and who with we were able to enjoy our last day there. Kira and I went to the Cold Read panel which was highly amusing. After getting Vic's autograph (and a hug from him too! He said my Paninya costume was awesome! ^_^) we met up with the group over in the hotel lobby. Hayley was giving away free hugs and/or glomps and got over 300. She wouldn't let us leave until she got to a certain number. We piled into the cars and stopped at Tulusa for McDonalds. Then we had an easy ride back and that's pretty much it.
YOU JUST LOST THE GAME!

THIS WAS FAR MORE BADASS THAN IT SHOULD'VE BEEN.
But as far as teaser trailers go that was pretty bad ass (especially the ships at the end!). Much better than the first teaser they came out with for HP:HBP back last year...

mmm, sexy.
